Balanced, complex and pleasing. Black cherry, rose petal and a subtle earthiness - Delicious. A delicate framework, yet very intense and polished… I want some of that! Red wine with fish? If it's Pinot Noir - yes Tomato-based pasta sauces pair well with Pinot's restrained tannins. Pork tenderloin - try it with a maple-mustard sauce or garlic and herb preparation. Even pizza with a variety of toppings will go beautifully with our Pinot Noir.

Wine EnthusiastMarc Mondavi, who is the eldest son of the late Peter Mondavi, has a reputation as a bona fide water witch, hence the name of his wine project. This is his first venture into Oregon, and it's a welcome addition to the growing ranks of value Pinots from the Willamette Valley. Elegant and affordable, it's loaded with soft, accessible cherry and chocolate flavors, smooth as silk.
