Amado Sur is a deep red wine with violet hues. Aromas of strawberries and red cherries intertwine with hints of clove and vanilla. Lush red berry flavor gives way to velvety tannins and a pleasant, persistent finish. Enjoy Amado Sur with rich dishes and roasted meats including lamb, beef, and pork. This wine also marries well with spicy, fruit-based sauces and sides.

Wine EnthusiastDark in color and ripe from the get go, this Malbec blend smells of blackberry, graphite and licorice. Full and layered, with surprisingly good depth, this tastes of black fruits blended with tomato and plum. Spicy, dry and herbal tasting on the finish, with a hint of saltiness.

Wine AdvocateThe 2014 Amado Sur (beloved South) is a blend of Malbec with 11% Bonarda and 10% Syrah from multiple zones within Mendoza, Maipú, Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco. Only 35% of the volume matured in barrels for six to eight months. This is a little wider and the fruit is a little darker, juicy and with grip, better with food. Concentrated but soft, modern, juicy and fresh, with focused fruit and with a classical blend of grapes, with character and some rusticity. 600,000 bottles produced.

Wine SpectatorHot stone and dried berry flavors are accented by inky notes in this red. Notes of forest floor on the tannic finish. Malbec, Bonarda and Syrah.
